Introduction to Web Server function and remote upgrade software of Programmable DC Source

In practical application, we often need to integrate to system and control via IPC. Thus, to communicate with IPC, it will require Power Supply with communication interface. In a system, when other equipment has requirement in communication, generally, communication interface of IPC should be multiple.

That also requires each equipment in system to provide different kinds of communication interface for selection. To make the system operate smoothly and reduce cost, it requires communication interface of each equipment in system to be coordinated with IPC communication interface. APM programmable DC Source provides 4 standard communication interfaces: RS232.RS485.LAN.USB. GPIB is optional.

In practical application, it requires analog to control. It will need interface of analog control. With such interface, it is capable of setting and controlling DC output voltage and current via weak voltage, current and resistance signal.

APM DC source could provide Web Server remote control function at the meanwhile. Through LAN interface and IE browser, it could remotely access and control power source. Open browser, enter IP address of power supply. It could access to welcome website.

It is capable of setting and measuring current/voltage, displaying and controlling operation status of power source, activating/shutting down buzzer, current sharing, opening and shutting down power source, setting parameter, loading basic information of power source, modifying LAN communication parameter and reset password.

Customer could open Programmable Power Remote Upgrade System to upgrade software of power supply. A simple operation could complete the upgrade to kernel control program and communication control program.

First, install the remote upgrade software, and then open the software to login interface.

Please notice. Upgrading communication program need connect programmable DC source and PC via LAN. Upgrading kernel control program need connect programmable DC source and PC via RS232.The whole process should keep power on.

Then double click remote upgrade software, search power supply. Enter to remote upgrade software interface. Select upgrade software storage path. Import the upgrade software. Enter password, click [Upgrade". Then, upgrade could start.

Finally, below interface will come up when upgrade complete. Need to restart power supply by hand.
